Know which account, client and permission you are using.
Start with a verified email, connect a compatible remote MCP client, then manage only the services your current access permits. Telegram account authorization is a separate process.
Connection guide
Connecting an MCP client
- Create or sign in to your verified TMCP account.
- In an AI application that supports remote MCP and OAuth, add the remote resource endpoint
https://tmcphub.com/mcp. - Follow the client-initiated TMCP OAuth authorization. Check the client identity and requested redirect before continuing; your current TMCP account controls your available tools.
- Discover tools that you are actually permitted to use. No login automatically grants organization services or another user's Telegram session.
ChatGPT remote connection and authenticated tool calls have been verified. Exact menus and support vary between applications and subscription tiers; do not assume all ChatGPT plans or other AI clients expose custom remote MCP.
Frequently asked questions
Identity, permissions and product status
What is TMCP Hub?
TMCP is one OAuth-protected remote MCP gateway that gives a compatible client access to tools allowed for your own identity. Telegram and private HTTPS MCP providers are distinct services behind that same permission boundary.
Is a TMCP account the same as a Telegram account?
No. Your verified TMCP email identifies you to the gateway. Telegram issues its own application API ID/hash and controls its own account verification and optional two-step password.
Where do I get a Telegram API ID and hash?
Use Telegram's official developer application process for your own account. Register the issued credentials on your TMCP personal application page. Treat the API hash as a secret; never share it in support messages.
Do personal Telegram API applications require approval or payment?
No. A verified Guest can register multiple personally owned applications without organization membership or TMCP approval. This does not authorize a Telegram session, which must separately complete Telegram's sign-in steps.
What does an organization-owned Telegram app share?
Exact app-use permissions may permit an eligible member to begin their own authorization. It never shares another user's Telegram session, messages, passwords, OTPs or session secrets.
Will Root or a platform catalog listing grant access to a business system?
No. Root manages admission and distribution, not another user's downstream business permissions. Private MCP use also needs active TMCP grants and separate upstream authorization.
Can I register a private MCP server or create an organization?
Not through public self-service yet. The standards-based provider submission and admission contract is accepted, but generic routing and Guest organization self-creation are still unimplemented. See Partners.
Is every ChatGPT plan or AI client supported?
No universal compatibility claim is made. The client must support a remote MCP connection and the required OAuth flow. TMCP has completed real authenticated ChatGPT tool calls; individual plan and UI availability depend on the client.
Are demo, AI assistant, prices or payments available?
The standalone synthetic Demo website and MCP are live. TMCP catalog Connect/Disconnect, model-backed AI and billing are not live yet. No subscription or payment is requested here. See Plans.
Why can't I see a provider or another user's account?
Only resources currently assigned and authorized for your identity are discoverable. Organization membership alone is not a provider grant, and application ownership cannot reveal foreign Telegram sessions.
Recovery
When sign-in or Telegram verification does not complete
TMCP browser account
Use Restart sign-in to verify your email again or recover access to your existing account. If your AI client launched OAuth, restart the connection from that client after the previous flow expires.
TMCP browser sign-in is not a Telegram login.
Telegram session
Only enter phone, email or two-step codes when Telegram specifically requests them. If the connection is pending, return to Telegram connections to check or resume. An expired flow must be restarted; do not assume a pending record is a working session.
Hosted Telegram full sign-in is still being repaired, and real delivery cannot be guaranteed by this page.
A public support contact channel and formal legal/support terms have not been published. Do not send credentials, verification codes or private MCP tokens through an unverified channel.
